Contracting Officer II
About The Position
The essential function of the position within the organization is to perform professional and technical work in the procurement of materials and services for Lake County. The position is responsible for preparing and administering contracts, providing expertise in the development of scopes of work and contract specifications, preparing various proposal and bid documents for solicitation, and performing related tasks as required. The position works under the general supervision and direction of more senior contracting personnel within Procurement Services. This position shall be required to assist with emergency support functions in the event of a declared emergency and/or any other emergency duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Business or Public Administration or related field with two (2) years of related experience.
- Requires a Florida driver's license.
Nice To Haves
- Professional accreditation from a recognizable professional purchasing organization is desirable.
