About The Position

ProEdit, a content development firm that has been a trusted partner for over 2,000 clients in more than 20 countries over the past 32 years, is seeking a technical writer to work on various projects for our customers, which include Fortune 500 companies and medium and small businesses. This position offers a rare opportunity to join ProEdit's project services team of writers, editors, instructional designers, and content project managers. This position requires attention to detail and working quickly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be able to take initiative and be a team player.

Requirements

• At least two (2) years of writing experience, preferably in technical writing, curriculum writing, or other content development.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, screen capture tools, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Degree in Technical Communication, Journalism, Instructional Design, or a related field.
• Previous experience with graphic design, video creation, and editing tools.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create content for user guides, training documents, articles, websites, or operational procedures.
• Collaborate with engineers and executives to gather information and ensure accuracy.
