Come join us! About the department Cloudflare’s P2P department is housed within the Finance team, but our reach is global, supporting thousands of purchases across our global offices per quarter. We use an integrated platform for purchase-orders and approvals, and a contract management and collaboration tool for negotiated, signed contracts. We interact daily with stakeholders from Finance, Commercial Legal, Privacy, Security, and IT to get critical purchases over the line. The majority of our purchases involve technology and internet infrastructure, so we ensure we are familiar with industry trends and challenges faced by our internal customers. Our team is responsible for setting policies, defining new processes, reviewing & negotiating vendor agreements to ensure that the Procurement function aligns to Cloudflare’s long-term strategic vision and goals. We are a small and growing team, presenting lots of opportunity for professional growth and visibility across multiple departments. What you'll do Cloudflare’s Contracts Specialist will support the end-to-end contracting process including, CLM system management, workflow orchestration & assignment, contract administration, contract execution and liaising with various business units regarding the Procurement process and procedures.. This person will be the internal point of contact for key all contracting related activity within the procurement function. They will work closely with the Sr. Specialist and the other Procurement groups. Who You Are: We are seeking a detail oriented, highly organized Contract Specialist to provide day to day operational and administrative support for our Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems. This role is essential in ensuring accuracy of contract data, smooth execution of contract workflows and timely completion of contract related tasks. The ideal candidate for this role is a proactive problem solver, fearless, approachable, and adaptable. You enjoy contracts, thrive in a fast paced environment, working with data and seeking out metrics to maximize value, and are eager to grow your skills in CLM administration.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in administrative, operations, or contracts-related roles (CLM experience is a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • General knowledge of procurement processes
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CLM tools (Ironclad, Zip, Adobesign) preferred.
  • Experience using Excel or system dashboards to track contract volumes and cycle times.
  • Developed critical thinking and proactive problem solving skills, with a willingness to get into the details of complex problems and drive creative solutions
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in contract operations and system administration.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day CLM system tasks, including contract intake triage, routing, and signature coordination.
  • Validate contract metadata, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain contract hierarchy and link related agreements in the CLM system.
  • Support data quality processes, including regular audits of metadata and key dates (renewals, obligations, etc.).
  • Coordinate workflows across multiple teams (Sourcing, Legal, Procurement) to ensure timely contract execution.
  • Provide basic CLM tool support to users and escalate complex issues as needed
  • Support the Sr Contract Analyst with quarterly audit and ad-hoc reporting
