About The Position

Proofpoint is looking for an experienced Contract Salesforce Administrator and business analyst to add to the Digital Platforms Team. The team is responsible for applications used by Proofpoint employees to help them be successful. These applications include but are not limited to Salesforce and the software integrated with it. As a Salesforce Administrator and business analyst you will be responsible for day-to-day Salesforce admin work as well as solving critical business problems and acting as a knowledge expert for evolving new processes within the company. You will be working with representatives from every department – in particular, support, professional services & customer success – to build and maintain processes and manage data relating to them.

Requirements

  • Experience with business process optimization and great interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Great analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex issues and find effective Salesforce solutions.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com administrative skills such as creating Users, Profiles, Roles, Custom Objects, Custom Fields, Page Layouts, Workflow Rules, Flows, Validation Rules, Approval Processes, Reports, Dashboards.
  • Strong knowledge of importing & exporting data in Salesforce using tools such as DataLoader.
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as SFDC Administrator/Business Systems Analyst working with various functional areas in Salesforce.
  • Positive attitude and ability to learn new things quickly.
  • Must have Salesforce.com Administrator certification.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and CPQ is a plus.
  • Salesforce.com Advanced Administrator/Platform App Builder certification is a plus.
