About The Position

We are seeking a results-driven Recruiter with experience hiring both exempt (salaried/professional) and skilled trades positions. This role is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruiting process, building strong talent pipelines, and partnering closely with hiring managers to attract and hire high-quality candidates across a diverse range of roles. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of professional recruiting strategies as well as hands-on experience sourcing and hiring for skilled trades and hourly workforce positions. Monday- Friday 8 am-4 pm

Requirements

  • 3+ years of recruiting experience, including both exempt and skilled trades hiring.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience recruiting in manufacturing, construction, industrial, or related industries.
  • Knowledge of labor market trends and workforce development resources.
  • Professional certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for exempt and skilled trades roles, from requisition intake through offer acceptance.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, sourcing strategies, and hiring timelines.
  • Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and community outreach.
  • Recruit for professional, technical, leadership, and corporate roles.
  • Conduct behavioral-based interviews and assess candidates for technical competence and cultural fit.
  • Facilitate competitive offer development in partnership with HR and hiring leaders.
  • Source and recruit for skilled trades roles (e.g., maintenance technicians, electricians, mechanics, welders, operators, etc.).
  • Build and maintain relationships with trade schools, workforce development programs, and community organizations.
  • Participate in job fairs and community hiring events.
  • Proactively build talent pipelines for high-demand roles.
  • Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, quality of hire, and source effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate candidate data within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Promote the organization’s employer brand in the marketplace.
  • Stay current on market trends, labor availability, and competitive hiring practices.
