About The Position

The Contract Pricing Specialist plays a key role in supporting our organization by ensuring accurate and timely pricing within our ERP system. In this role, you will manage a daily inbox queue, working through pricing requests and special pricing agreements (SPA's) submitted by suppliers and internal partners. You will collaborate closely with suppliers to set up and maintain SPA's, translating these agreements into the ERP system by building and updating pricing matrices.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of Distribution experience required.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3-4 years of Distribution experience preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems or related software.
  • Proven track record of successful contract negotiations and pricing optimization.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively navigate supplier websites and internet browsers.

Responsibilities

  • Process and enter in the computer daily all customer contracts and other customer pricing requests including the Electronic Data Interchange for processing transactions.
  • Follow all defined procedures, work instructions, and checklists to properly process supplier increases.
  • Monitor and maintain pricing contracts within our internal website, which shows all current active supplier contracts.
  • Gain necessary knowledge of pricing structure and contract pricing processes to ensure all pricing contracts are maintained appropriately.
  • Maintain pricing notes and pricing control areas of Vendor maintenance screen as needed.
  • Advise assigned Account Managers of Contract Pricing best practices during the new associate onboarding process and regular day-to-day operations.
