The Contract Pharmacy Analyst oversees compliance activities and provides additional support for the pharmacy program.

Requirements

  • Education/Training: Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree - in lieu of a degree, we will consider equivalent related experience; AND
  • Experience: Two (2) years of Pharmacy Technician experience, including lead or project experience.
  • License/Certification: Currently licensed as a Pharmacy Technician in good standing by the Oregon Board of Pharmacy

  • PBM Contracts experience.

Responsibilities

  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Program Coordinator to drive initiatives, oversee program activities, and be responsible for the operational evaluation and implementation of the contract pharmacy program.
  • Manage the 340B Third Party Administrator and contract pharmacy relationships.
  • Provide strategic analysis and support to management, including analyzing laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance, and recommending and implementing policies and procedures.
  • Conduct workflow and quality assurance analyses to identify improvements, simplify processes, and develop, implement, and maintain quality management plans for compliance.
  • Develop program evaluation criteria, collect data, analyze performance against goals, and prepare formal assessments and reports with recommendations for program development.
  • Carve in referral claims at contract pharmacies.
  • Maintain a continuous state of HRSA audit readiness to ensure contract pharmacy program integrity and compliance, including conducting routine claims audits.
  • Actively participate in the 340B Oversight Committee.
  • Manage PBM contracts, oversee credentialing, re-credentialing and audits.
  • Monitor and report on reimbursement trends.
  • Work as a Pharmacy Technician in the health center pharmacies as needed to cover planned and unplanned absences.
  • Represent the county and the assigned programs to the public, elected officials, other agencies, and the media, which includes developing presentations and conducting community outreach.
