Join a team where your work makes life a little sweeter every day! The Account Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the growth of Contract Manufacturing (Co-Man) business. This position blends strategic business development with strong customer relationship management. The role focuses on expanding key partnerships, identifying new revenue opportunities, and executing long-term strategies to strengthen our position in the confectionary coatings markets, while maintaining a strong commitment to customer service and operational excellence. This position is located onsite at our Wyomissing corporate office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in Account Management, Sales, or Business Development, ideally within manufacturing, coatings, or contract manufacturing industries.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain executive-level relationships.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth while balancing customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with analytical skills and a results-driven mindset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/CRM systems.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to recommend strategies that drive growth and profitability.
  • Support contract negotiations, proposals, and pricing strategies to maximize long-term value.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, managing relationships, reporting, and account performance.
  • Handle day-to-day customer inquiries, purchase orders, and requests, ensuring timely resolution and accurate order processing.
  • Lead weekly customer calls to review updates, production status, and upcoming requirements.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams (Operations, Planning, R&D, Quality, Customer Service) to ensure expectations are met.
  • Develop and maintain account plans that align with customer objectives and company goals.
  • Provide regular reporting, forecasting, and documentation for active accounts, proactively addressing concerns and tracking key metrics.
  • Support resolution of service or product issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
