About The Position

Contract Management Specialist (Experienced or Senior) Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Contract Management Specialist (Experienced or Senior) to join the Phantom Works Contracts team in Berkeley or Saint Charles, MO. The person selected for this position will support various areas of Phantom Works, including multiple teams and customers. This position is the primary point of contact for the Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO). Phantom Works offers an excellent opportunity for Contracts Representatives to work in sole-source and competitive environments, get exposed to different customers and contract types, gain exposure with executive leadership and work in an area that is developing cutting edge technology and programs that may lead to the next major franchise for Boeing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 3+ years of experience with government contracts
  • 3+ years of experience building, developing, and maintaining customer relationships
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
  • An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret/SCI Clearance Post-Start is required.
  • This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of experience utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite
  • 3+ years of experience in proposal development and contract negotiations with U.S. Government Customers
  • 3+ years of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations)
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, and able to multi-task and manage expectations
  • Active U.S. Top Secret/SCI security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Represents the company to diverse customers, including U.S. Government, and manages formal customer correspondence
  • Leads cross-functional proposal development and contract negotiation efforts
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners
  • Exercises commitment/signature authority to negotiate and contract for the development or sale of high-performance defense and aerospace products
  • Administers and interprets complex contracts and agreements during the entire acquisition and product lifecycle
  • Reviews and analyzes contractual terms and conditions, Performance Work Statements (PWS) and ground rules and assumptions
  • Analyzes relevant business risks and develops mitigation solutions for review and implementation
  • Develops transaction review and approval documentation, leads briefings/reviews and obtains required approvals from senior level management
