About The Position

You will be the Contract Management Senior Staff for the Advanced Programs Contracts team. Our team is responsible for providing end‑to-end contracts support for highly classified Special Programs. As the Contract Management Senior Staff you will be responsible for leading contract activities from capture through award, execution, and closeout. Requirements

  • This position requires applicants to have an active Final Secret security clearance with a background investigation performed within the last five years.
  • Candidate must be able to obtain a Top-Secret clearance upon employment.
  • This position also requires an enhanced security review in accordance with Government contract requirements and it is a condition of employment that individuals hired into positions requiring program clearance obtain and maintain such clearance within sufficient time to allow Lockheed Martin to meet its business needs.
  • Experience working on Classified Programs.
  • Contract life cycle experience including generating and submitting proposals, negotiating with customers or suppliers, contract administration, and closeout.
  • Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS).
  • Experience with multiple contract types and proposals, such as IDIQ, FFP, FPIF, CPIF, CPAF, CPFF & T&M.
  • Experience identifying contractual risks and understanding the financial implications.
  • Experience multi-tasking and working several assignments concurrently.
  • Travel approximately 10% to customer locations.
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Responsibilities

  • Lead contract management across the full lifecycle for Special Programs, ensuring compliance with all laws, regulations, and Delegation of Authority requirements.
  • Provide business advice and coordinate with program management, finance, legal, subcontracts, engineering, and other functions to manage solicitations, negotiations, and contract terms.
  • Serve as the authorized representative with customer buying representatives, building effective relationships and resolving contractual issues.
  • Lead and support internal and external audits, develop corrective actions, and ensure final contract documents reflect negotiated agreements.
  • Collect contractual data, compile reports for corporate and business‑area requests, and mentor junior contract staff.
