About The Position

Torch Technologies is seeking a Contract Closeout Specialist, Journeyman to join the team at Hill AFB, UT. Torch Technologies is a 100% employee-owned business dedicated to providing superior research, development, and engineering services to the Department of Defense. As defense contractors, the services we provide directly support the warfighter. As a Contract Closeout Specialist, Journeyman your duties will include the following, but are not limited to: Accomplish tasks using software programs/databases to include, but not limited to Microsoft Office, Google Chrome, Contracting Writing System (ConWrite, CON-IT), SAM.gov, Electronic Data Access (EDA), Federal Procurement Data System-Next Generation (FPDS-NG), AF Data Services, and other similar or successor systems. Learn to use other commercial or specialized computer applications. Advise assigned contracting personnel if a contract action, to include modification, may be required. Assist with the distribution of contract documentation. Provide support in the creation of databases and spreadsheets. Assist with tracking contracting statuses and creation of reports and/or PowerPoint charts using data pulled from existing systems including, but not limited to, Automated Contract Preparation System (ACPS), Automated Business Services System (ABSS), and Contract Information Database System (CIDS). Support contract closeout activities. Collect data for audit and/or report requests. Interact and coordinate with Defense Financial Accounting Service (DFAS) on payments. Produce copies of acquisition documentation. Track contract milestones.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Bachelor’s degree or 4 years related experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
  • The Contractor may be required to learn to use other commercial or specialized computer applications.

Responsibilities
