What You’ll Do as a Billing Specialist As a Billing Specialist at Lewis Services, you’ll: • Assist Revenue Cycle Specialists with weekly payroll verification and analysis• Review and analyze timesheets, including revenue and equipment usage• Produce customer invoices accurately and in accordance with contract terms• Reconcile invoices, reports, and billing data across systems and customer portals• Complete data entry and process requested reports accurately and efficiently• Support resolution of billing issues for internal teams, customers, and external partners• Distribute billing and payroll related information to field personnel as needed• Report on the status of outstanding accounts and billing discrepancies• Assist with developing and implementing process improvements within billing operations• Ensure billing functions are completed accurately, timely, and in compliance with customer contracts• Train new employees on billing systems including ERP, data collection tools, and Tiempo• Create, review, and reconcile utility billing• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support a positive partner experience• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred
  • Two or more years of experience in accounting, billing, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy in a high volume environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP or accounting software
  • Solid business acumen and problem solving ability
  • Accounting and billing knowledge
  • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and systems
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Effective collaboration skills with both internal teams and external partners
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong typing, math, grammar, and computer skills
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time
  • Use hands and fingers for data entry and document handling
  • Reach with hands and arms for filing and office tasks
