Position Summary: The Contract Analyst is responsible for overseeing labor rate implementation, contract billing accuracy, and system alignment across D365, Dayforce, and customer platforms. This role ensures contract compliance, protects gross margin integrity, and supports operational and financial accuracy through audits, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract administration, billing analysis, finance, or a related role within industrial construction or maintenance preferred.
  • Strong understanding of contract billing structures, labor rate models, and gross margin principles.
  • Experience with D365, Dayforce, or similar ERP/payroll systems preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee contract rate increase implementation within D365 and customer systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract terms.
  • Collaborate with Payroll to ensure personal contract increases are updated accurately in Dayforce.
  • Investigate and resolve delays or discrepancies in rate updates within internal or customer systems.
  • Perform periodic audits to ensure labor rates in Dayforce, billing rates in D365, and rates in customer systems align with approved pricing models and rate sheets.
  • Work closely with Field Accounting to ensure rates are correctly configured for billing in D365 and aligned with wage rate structures in Dayforce.
  • Load and maintain labor and billing rates in D365.
  • Maintain centralized labor rate files to ensure data integrity and accessibility for decision-making.
  • Assist with CNR (Change Notice Request) reviews to ensure alignment with contract terms and gross margin expectations.
  • Review and audit third-party billable items to ensure accurate invoicing.
  • Develop and maintain detailed contract “Cheat Sheets” outlining billing structures, rate changes, and contract requirements.
  • Support internal and external audit processes.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives by streamlining workflows, enhancing documentation, and providing cross-functional training as needed.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of contract billing structures and requirements.
