About The Position

Responsible for the management of the system’s contract lifecycle management systems and related processes by proactively monitoring contracts, assigning contracts, updating contracts with amendments or terminations, and assisting with regulatory compliance. Manages the renewal, termination, negotiation, implementation, maintenance, and signature processes for system’s contracts.

Requirements

  • A minimum of three years of demonstrated experience in contract administration, five years preferred.
  • Minimum of two years demonstrated experience with contract lifecycle management software required, three years preferred.
  • Experience with contract lifecycle management software selection and implementa-tion, strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to proactively interact with all levels of staff and/or others while achieving posi-tive outcomes required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Bachelor’s degree in health care administration, information management, business ad-ministration, finance, or related field or paralegal certification with a contract focus or concentration required.
  • Possesses information, skill and understanding of the work to be performed.
  • Ability to work both closely with a team and independently and to exercise flexibility and be a self-starter.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the process for renewal, termination, negotiation, implementation, and maintenance processes for system contracts to maintain adherence to system con-tract policies and requirements
  • Serves as the primary contact for all contract requests and/or questions related to contract review, status, training, and processes.
  • Facilitates contract review through the system’s contract lifecycle management soft-ware systems to ensure proper submission of completed forms, timely contact review and workflow management.
  • Responds to concerns and facilitates problem resolution between vendors, internal stakeholders, and team members to support compliance with contract policies and procedures while maintaining positive and respectful relationships.
  • Coordinates and maintains contract communication, educational forums and leads contract administration to ensure timely review and delivery of contractual infor-mation, updates, and education to department team members and system stake-holders.
  • Educates, assists, and supports vendors, system stakeholders, and team members to ensure compliance with various types of contracts, contract processes and poli-cies. Provides contract analysis support and makes independent, sound decisions on contracting matters.
  • Provides timely and accurate assessments of existing, proposed, and new contracts, contract utilization compliance and analysis as appropriate. Participates in contract audits, due diligence reviews or disclosures, and other internal or external contract reviews.
  • Timely prepares and reports contracting metrics using a variety of databases and sta-tistical reports.
  • Assists in the preparation of contract policies and procedures and template agree-ments for recurring contract situations. Develops, interprets, or implements contract policies or practices.
  • Supports contract projects and coordinates contracting activities as it relates to regu-latory, legal activities, and deadlines.
  • Identifies, creates, updates, and distributes contract training and resource guides.
