About The Position

Manage and oversee legally binding contractual agreements with the oversight of the Director of Contract Administration. This role works closely with the Director, various TEAM functions, and outside legal counsel to ensure binding contractual agreements comply with legal requirements and align with business objectives and policies. The position involves collaboration across multiple departments, ensuring contract strategies support organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in contract management, negotiation, or a related role
  • Understanding of contract language and legal concepts
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and finalize, with Director of Contract Administration oversight, commercial business contractual agreements ensuring terms are favorable and align with company policies and objectives.
  • Analyze and interpret contract terms to identify potential risks and propose necessary modifications.
  • Support and occasionally lead contract negotiations with external partners under the guidance of the Director of Contract Administration.
  • Manage the lifecycle of contracts from initiation to renewal or termination, leveraging contract management systems as applicable.
  • Ensure all agreements comply with TEAM policies and objectives, collaborating with legal counsel to meet federal and state requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with contracts, escalating critical issues as needed.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments (sales, supply chain, finance, and operations) and external partners to facilitate contract discussions and ensure alignment with TEAM policies and executed agreements.
  • Maintain accurate and organized digital records of all contracts and related documents in accordance with company standards. Ensure that necessary procedural controls are in place and maintain an audit process for the system.
  • Provide training and guidance to TEAM Members on executed agreements, contract policies, and best practices.
  • Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality, safeguarding sensitive information related to contracts and proprietary data. Ensure contractual documents are accessible only to authorized personnel and comply with TEAM policies and legal requirements.
  • Demonstrate commitment to the TEAM Industries Quality Management system and Objectives.
  • Promote a positive atmosphere. Actively support activities that promote the welfare and morale of TEAM employees.
  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
