About The Position

Position is Remote for Washington State Only. Responsible for preparing, examining, analyzing, negotiating, and revising contracts that involve the purchase or sale of goods or hospital-specific services. Assist in the entire contracting process for all contracts within the Hospital Supply Chain, including negotiation, contract finalization, and tracking. With a focus on legal concepts, provide contract recommendations, work closely with Seattle Children's General Counsel , Privacy, Risk, Accreditation and other key stake holders when needed, and provide contract guidance to Supply Chain and Hospital Department leadership. Updating our contract repository (currently MediTract and future state will be Workday Strategic Sourcing Formerly Evisort).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent.
  • Minimum five (5) years of contracting experience, with emphasis in language/contract term review and recommendation.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with WorkDay Strategic Sourcing platform
  • Experience with pre- and post-award activities for RFx and contracts.
  • Juris Doctorate degree or Paralegal certification.
