Requirements

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience
1 year administering FAR/DFARS contracts

Responsibilities

To assist in the coordination and management of proposals, contracts and purchase orders under the direct supervision and guidance of a higher level Contract Administrator or Manager.
Develop a deep understanding of the US Government Acquisition and Procurement process, the BAE Systems Contracts function and relevant Company policies and procedures, FAR/DFAR, commercial contracting methods and other government regulations.
Participate in and manage the cross-functional Contract Closeout process.
Assist upper level Contract Administrators and Managers in negotiations and other activities such as fact finding and audits.
Attend Program Management meetings to provide advice to Program Managers and ensure the Contracts functional mandate is adhered to.
Attend customer meetings and interact directly with customer representatives.
Negotiate Non-Disclosure Agreements, Bailment Agreements and other agreements in accordance with BAE Systems policy and delegations of authority.
Provide Contracts input to Program Management Reviews with upper management, and when practical, present the Contracts slides.
Performs other duties as required.
