About The Position

The Contract Administrator I assists with research, negotiation, development, and maintenance of managed care contracts. Assists in research, preparing analysis, and making observations and recommendations for contract documents. Coordinates contract maintenance and negotiations. Ensures contract documents are signed, saved and documented. Maintains contracts and contacts. Maintains and monitors email inquiries. Provides responses to inquiries received. Assists with monitoring processing and resolving single case agreements. Assists in reviewing contract proposals, language, ensure accuracy, completeness and recommends corrections, changes, and opportunities to management. Monitors contracts and recommends improvement opportunities. Collaborates with other departments. Services as a resource for stakeholders in business and clinical units. Works with multiple internal and external stakeholders with proven success and self-education. Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required. 4 years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years of contract related experience preferred.
  • Licensure/certification: N/A
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Clear, effective communication skills.
  • Detail orientated.
  • Must be able to meet high productivity and accuracy standards.
  • High focus and concentration needed for computer, analytical, organizational and time management.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excell, computer/PC skills.
  • Excellent documentation and follow-up skills required.
