About The Position

Researches, Documents, Communicates, Trains, Facilitates, Coaches, and Implements best practices for Rosenboom. Pursue continuous improvement and eliminate waste across the organization to ensure our efforts lower cost, and increase velocity, throughput, and profitability for Rosenboom.

Requirements

  • Is self-motivated and has the knowledge, skill, and ability required to motivate others.
  • Communicates (speaks, understands, reads and writes reports using acceptable format and sentence and paragraph structure) in English:
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate orally in a clear and positive manner.
  • Demonstrates ability to generate and maintain accurate and concise written records.
  • The ability to understand production processes and the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
  • Is proactive and able to project how decisions and trends may affect the organization.
  • Demonstrates keyboarding and computer skills for the input and retrieval of information.
  • Demonstrates an ability to actively listen.
  • Is honest, fair, tactful, and consistent in dealing with other employees and in stressing situations
  • Reads/comprehends safety rules, equipment manuals, job sheets and blueprint notations (English).
  • Has the ability to keep information confidential.
  • High school diploma or GED, preferred;
  • Three to six months of relative experience and/or training, preferred.
  • On-site training specific to job responsibilities; and,
  • Continuing education as made available and/or required by Rosenboom.

Responsibilities

  • Aids in developing a lean culture throughout Rosenboom at all organizational levels.
  • Trains, develops, and coach others.
  • Leads cross-functional improvement teams using Plan Do Check Act (PDCA) strategies.
  • Demonstrates understanding of continuous improvement tools, process improvement techniques, and Quick Response Manufacturing (QRM).
  • Demonstrates understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and has the ability to train others on those principals including: 5S, 8D & 5why, Set-up Reduction techniques, and others.
  • Establishes and Implements Standard Work practices in all areas.
  • Actively promotes Total Productive Asset Management (TPaM). Drives the consistency and completion of maintenance and operator Preventative Maintenance (PM) shop floor activities, Basic Equipment Care (BEC/EIT/RIT) events, and Machine Improvement team activities.
  • Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and longevity, and quality of product.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously without daily supervision.
