The primary role of the Continuous Improvement Engineering Tech is to support the Continuous Improvement team through driving continuous improvement throughout the assembly operations, primarily our Switchboard product line. This role will assist with the deployment of various CI tools (5S, VSM, Lean Material Flow, 3P, etc) which will be used to improve productivity, quality, and safety. In this function you will: Process analysis and improvement and waste reduction. Support and Facilitate Kaizen Events and A3 Problem Solving sessions. Visual Management and Standardization through the development and maintenance of visual controls and Standardized work instructions and method sheets for new processes Data Collection and Reporting of CI Metrics such as OEE, cycle time and cost savings. Training of CI training and culture throughout the facility. Alignment of continuous improvement initiatives with safety and quality standards throughout the facility. Associates Degree or higher from an accredited institution Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing or continuous improvement experience No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Sumter, SC will be considered.
