Location: 2330 Northpoint Parkway, Santa Rosa, CA 95407 Essential Duties and Responsibilities ⯠⯠Project Details: ⯠⯠We are ⯠seeking ⯠a detail-oriented and proactiveâ¯intern to join the Continuous Improvementâ¯Team this summer.â¯The ideal candidate will gain hands-on experienceâ¯while supporting plant-wide continuous improvement initiatives by leading a 5S workplace organization project and contributing to a Pot Pie process improvement effort focused on reducing dough waste. The role will involve equipment inventory and organization, data collection and process analysis, and implementation of Lean improvements. The intern will also complete Lean Practitioner Certification training and apply Lean principles directly to both projects. Inventory equipment and recommend storage, labeling, and layout improvements. Support the Pot Pie Improvement Project by collecting and analyzing production data. Observe and map current processes to identify sources of dough waste. Recommend and implement process improvements to reduce waste per production run.
