FORVIA is looking for a year-round Continuous Improvement (FES) Intern for its Location in Columbus, Indiana. The Continuous Improvement Intern will have duties that will support manufacturing sites in the FES (Faurecia Excellence System) deployment and activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum education level: Pursing an Engineering Degree preferably in Industrial or Mechanical
  • Ability to travel while working internship
  • Strong computer skills, high level organization skills, and good communication skills
  • Intermediate to advanced level of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Windows-based software
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia’s Code of Ethics and Code of Management
  • Minimum 2.8 GPA
  • Can work year-round

  • Helpful to have knowledge of Access, visual basic or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Establish standards for the Division based on Division Best Practices
  • Develop model line and game concepts
  • Maintain the FES Shareplace and training calendar
  • Coaching and training production employees
  • Update/create standardized work instructions
  • Participating in plant workshops (Hoshin, SMED, OEE)
  • Improving direct labour efficiency by productivity
  • Production lines alignment with Production system standard assessment
