Moog's Military Aircraft Group has an immediate opening for a Lean Continuous Improvement Engineer to plan, organize and conduct team-based improvement & process variation reduction activities to develop solutions for complex problems. In this role, you will need to build strategic working relationships at all levels in the organization, from site-level management to front line operators. You will need to strike a balance between leading, active participation & coaching to develop and implement solutions and establish a lean, problem-solving culture. Reporting to the Operational Excellence (OPEX) Manager, you will have a 9/80 schedule and work on-site in Torrance, California. Moog's Military Aircraft Group is a global leader in designing primary and secondary flight control actuation systems (FCAS) for military aircraft. We design and integrate FCAS systems for cutting edge aircraft like the F-35 Lightning II and the V280 Valor next generation tiltrotor Aircraft.
