Requirements

  • Completion of Junior year in an accredited college with a major in a STEM Field (Engineering Preferred but not required).
  • Passion for creating positive change and a desire to engage with the manufacturing team.
  • Creative, data driven approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously.
  • Organize and complete detailed tasks and project work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. Responsibilities

  • The Continuous Improvement Intern will be an active member of the operations team and will lead projects aimed at improving the group's current operational challenges. These solutions will have a direct impact on the organization and its success.
  • The Continuous Improvement Intern will analyze available data to assist in decision making.
  • The Continuous Improvement Intern will work cross functionally with other groups to organize and implement sustainable processes to advance our day-to-day operations.
  • The Continuous Improvement Intern will learn and leverage lean tools to solve challenging problems.
  • Projects and additional duties will be assigned throughout the assignment based on current business and manufacturing needs.
  • Interns will be expected to work a full-time schedule of 40 hours/week and will be compensated on an hourly basis.
