MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT The Continuity planner will be integral to the Intelligence agency customers mission of ensuring the security and resilience of national defense assets. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, conduct, and report an Enterprise-wide Business Process Analysis (BPA) and Business Impact Analysis (BIA) by incompliance with FCD-1 and DoDI 3020-40. Develop and annually update the customer Continuity plans and ensure they align with the Enterprise Continuity program. Provide subject matter expertise to COOP and COG events as needed, which may include 24X7 coverage and weekends and holidays. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve BPA/BIA processes and methodologies in line with evolving threats and technologies. Strategic Analysis: Provide strategic analysis of vulnerabilities and mitigation recommendations to enhance mission assurance. Assessment Coordination: Support the planning and execution of JMAA activities, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all defense critical assets and infrastructure. Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain partnerships across the DoW by participation and support of applicable interagency and community meetings. Risk Management: Work with installation and mission personnel to identify risks that may lead to mission degradation or failure and recommend risk reduction strategies. Briefing Development: Prepare briefing materials and reports for senior leadership, highlighting assessment findings and strategic implications. Security Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with the highest standards of security and confidentiality as outlined by Intelligence and DoW policies. Participates in special projects as required. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED Bring your planning expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Continuity Planner Senior must have: ● Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science ● Experience: 8+ years of related experience in continuity, security operations, risk management or mission assurance. Strong data analytics skills are required. ● Technical skills: Required Certification or the ability to receive within 6 months of hire: Disaster Recovery Institute International (DRII) Associate Business Continuity Professional (ABCP) or Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex information. The likely salary range for this position is $124,093 - $161,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
