Continuing Medical Education Coordinator
About The Position
The Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center at New Orleans ( LSUHSC -NO) School of Medicine is seeking a Coordinator for the Office of Continuing Medical Education ( CME ). Under the direction of the Director of Continuing Medical Education, the CME Coordinator will be responsible for assessing learner educational needs for certified continuing medical education activities and working with stakeholders to implement learning strategies that maximize learning outcomes. Incumbent will plan and coordinate development of course materials, curriculum, meeting facilities, logistics, activity evaluation and funding opportunities for CME activities. Incumbent will assist in maintaining records required for continued accreditation by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education ( ACCME ), the AMA Physician Recognition Award program, and additional accrediting bodies as applicable. In collaboration with LSU faculty and staff, incumbent will also develop and implement new CME activities utilizing the outstanding facilities and resources within the LSU School of Medicine Learning Center.
Responsibilities
