About The Position

T1 Energy is bringing solar manufacturing back to the U.S. by building a domestic solar supply chain. Our mission is to invigorate America with scalable, reliable, and low-cost energy. Our fully operational 5GW solar module facility in Wilmer, Texas, can manufacture more than 20,000 modules every 24 hours. By the time you finish reading this paragraph, we will have produced two solar panels that will power American homes and fuel domestic AI. T1 Energy is seeking a proactive and analytical Continuous Improvement Specialist to drive operational excellence across the organization. This role focuses on identifying inefficiencies, implementing process improvements, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in process improvement, operations, or manufacturing environments.
  • Certification in Lean or Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Visio, and data visualization tools.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ERP systems and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, PMP, etc.).
  • Background in logistics, supply chain, or production scaling.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze current workflows, systems, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead and support cross-functional Kaizen events, root cause analyses, and process mapping sessions.
  • Develop and implement Lean initiatives, 5S programs, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Collaborate with department leaders to align improvement efforts with overall business goals.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of implemented changes using KPIs and dashboards.
  • Train and coach team members on continuous improvement tools and techniques.
  • Support change management initiatives and promote a culture of operational excellence.
