About The Position

EPOCH Senior Living is seeking a talented and motivated Content Writer to join their dynamic marketing team at their corporate office in Waltham, MA. The Content Writer will be responsible for producing high-quality written content for various marketing campaigns, sales materials, digital marketing initiatives, blogs, SEO, and email blasts. This role is essential in engaging target audiences and driving traffic to the company's website, supporting lead generation and recruitment efforts while aligning with the overall marketing strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a content writer, copywriter, or similar role in a marketing environment.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact, HubSpot) is a plus.
  • Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to craft content for various target audiences.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • A portfolio of writing samples or published work is preferred.
  • Passion for the senior living and care industry, with a strong understanding of the senior target audience.

Responsibilities

  • Write engaging and informative content for marketing campaigns, digital marketing efforts, sales materials, blogs, email blasts, and website copy.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align content creation with ongoing campaigns, sales materials, and promotional strategies.
  • Maintain a consistent tone and voice that aligns with each brand identity for senior living communities, tailoring content for different audiences.
  • Research and generate ideas for educational topics, blog posts, and content pieces that align with trends and needs.
  • Write compelling copy for promotional email blasts to drive engagement and conversions, nurturing relationships with various audiences.
  • Support the marketing team to create content for social media, display ads, landing pages, and other digital platforms.
  • Optimize written content for SEO best practices to improve organic search rankings and drive leads through website traffic.
  • Ensure all content is grammatically correct, polished, and free of errors before publication.
  • Collaborate with the marketing, sales, recruitment, and operations teams to develop content materials that reflect company values and goals.
