About The Position

AlphaSense is seeking a talented and versatile Content Writer/Editor to join our dynamic marketing team. This individual will be responsible for creating, editing, and optimizing high-quality content that supports AlphaSense’s marketing initiatives, thought leadership, and research goals. The Content Writer/Editor will work closely with the Editorial Director, subject matter experts, and marketing stakeholders to produce content that is insightful, well-researched, and aligns with the company's voice and brand. Content formats will range from research articles and data-driven reports to case studies, email newsletters, and more. The Content Writer/Editor will also hold key organizational responsibilities, such as tracking and reporting performance metrics and creating and maintaining content calendars and team process documentation. This role is ideal for a proactive, adaptable, and highly organized content professional with experience in the corporate or institutional finance sectors who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience writing and/or editing content for a business/corporate or institutional finance audience.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing the ability to write clear, engaging, and professional content for a corporate or institutional finance audience.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with an eye for detail and a strong command of grammar, syntax, and style.
  • Ability to distill complex topics into digestible, engaging content for professional audiences.
  • Experience writing for multiple platforms, including web, email, and social media.
  • Solid understanding of financial markets, industries, companies, and investing concepts is essential.
  • Ability to research and interpret financial data, reports, and market trends to create accurate and compelling content.
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment with writers, editors, marketers, and designers.
  • Ability to take feedback constructively and make improvements to content based on editorial direction.
  • Proficiency with content management systems (CMS), Google Suite, and project management tools (e.g., Asana).
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and content marketing best practices.
  • Basic knowledge of data visualization and how to incorporate charts, graphs, and infographics into written content.
  • Understanding of multimedia content formats such as video, podcasts, and/or webinars.

Responsibilities

  • Write clear, compelling, and informative content for AlphaSense’s target audience, which includes financial services firms, corporate strategy teams, and investor relations professionals, among others.
  • Produce a wide variety of content types, including articles, reports, case studies, email newsletters, and more.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance in all content.
  • Ensure all content aligns with AlphaSense’s brand voice, tone, and messaging guidelines.
  • Edit content for clarity, tone, voice, grammar, and style, ensuring all materials are polished and professional.
  • Proofread for errors in grammar, punctuation, and formatting, maintaining a high level of quality and consistency.
  • Refine and rework existing content to improve readability, flow, and engagement.
  • Ensure all content is optimized for SEO, including using relevant keywords, metadata, and linking strategies.
  • Work with the design team to ensure content is visually appealing and engaging as well as the social media team to promotional assets for content.
  • Work closely with marketing, product, subject matter experts, and sales teams to understand AlphaSense’s products and services and convey their value through effective content.
  • Collaborate with channel owners across marketing to enhance and optimize content for the intended audience.
  • Contribute to the editorial calendar, ensuring content delivery on time and within scope.
  • Take point on team organization, including maintaining content management, calendars, process documentation, performance metrics, and more.
  • Monitor the performance of published content and make recommendations for improvement based on data-driven insights.
  • Stay current on industry trends and competitor content to continually improve the quality and relevance of AlphaSense’s materials.
