About The Position

The Senior Content Writer-Copywriter plays a key role in developing high-quality and engaging content that educates, informs, and inspires our target audience. The Sr Content Writer-Copywriter’s work will enhance brand reputation, establish thought leadership, and drive loyal readership and Hoag community engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications, healthcare, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in copywriting and content creation.
  • Proven work experience as a Content Writer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your writing skills.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to convey complex healthcare information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices to optimize content for search engines and increase organic traffic.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment and stay up to date on marketing trends.

  • Lead creative initiatives to shape innovative marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand objectives.
  • Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to increase organic traffic and improve rankings.
  • Proofread and edit content to ensure grammatical accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices to ensure content meets legal and ethical standards.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance using analytics tools, identifying areas for improvement in content strategy.
  • Stay current on emerging healthcare trends, patient needs, and industry advancements, generating content ideas to remain ahead of the curve.
  • Lead the content strategy and planning sessions with creative design and marketing teams, bringing creative ideas and unique perspectives.
