About The Position

The Content Strategist plays a vital role in developing and executing high-quality content that drives traffic, engagement, and conversions across various digital channels. Working closely with the Content Strategist II and other members of Team Digital, this employee will create content that adheres to Resurgent’s brand voice and style while achieving business goals. This role is ideal for someone who possesses strong communication skills, can think outside of the box, can process feedback from multiple sources, and enjoys learning about how analytics can inform content decisions.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience (including internships and/or relevant course work in content creation or relevant field)
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience required in Figma, PPT, and Adobe Products (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • AI first mentality
  • Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work well with others and in cross functional teams
  • Able to articulate thoughts, ideas and opinions professionally in written and verbal communication
  • Exceptional organizational skills, able to multitask and appropriately prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for both marketing and analytics
  • Highly motivated and independent
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, or related field required.
  • Portfolio of content that balances empathy with the customer and compelling CTAs

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with responsive design email frameworks preferred (MJML), not required

Responsibilities

  • Create engaging and informative branded content (written, visual, etc.) based on pre-defined scopes, editorial calendars, and campaign objectives.
  • Proactively uses AI tools to self-serve answers, explore creative concepts, and accelerate content development before escalating questions to others.
  • Execute writing and designing of content across multiple digital channels, including email, SMS, direct voice mail, paid media, and social platforms.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of best practices for major social media platforms, including which content types and approaches perform best on each channel.
  • Compile social media trends, performance insights, and content ideas, and share recommendations with the Digital Experience team.
  • Design content for optimal presentation and usability across various digital platforms (e.g., email, social media, PPTs).
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, subject matter experts, and cross-functional partners to gather inputs, refine messaging, and deliver content within established timelines.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and provides thoughtful feedback on content ideas.
  • Support the Communications and Digital Experience teams with overflow or ad hoc projects as business needs require.
  • Build knowledge around the Accounts Receivables industry and how Resurgent Capital Services’ policies and procedures compare to others in the industry.
