The Role We’re looking for a Content Strategist & Creator who will craft Oboe’s identity across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X. This is a hands-on creative role for someone who can concept, storyboard, shoot, edit, write, and publish original content that feels native to each platform. You’re the person who already tracks TikTok trends before they hit the FYP, has opinions about what makes a hook land, and can turn an idea into a polished short-form video in a day. You’ll shape how the world meets (and gets curious about) Oboe.

Requirements

  • Have 2+ years creating content for social — ideally for a brand, creator, startup, or agency.
  • Can ideate → script → shoot → edit → publish with minimal oversight.
  • Have deep hands-on experience with short-form video (CapCut, Premiere, or similar tools).
  • Have proven experience creating content that drives engagement — especially short-form video.
  • Write sharp captions, hooks, and CTAs that encourage clicks and shares.
  • Understand the nuance of TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X — what works, what flops, why.
  • Are comfortable in a fast-moving environment where speed and creativity matter.
  • Have a metrics mindset — you know how to interpret engagement data and iterate.
  • Are scrappy and resourceful — you make good ideas happen quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute Oboe’s social presence across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X.
  • Plan monthly content calendars rooted in trends, culture, and evergreen learning ideas.
  • Concept, shoot, edit, and publish original short-form videos and other platform-native content.
  • Maintain a consistent tone, visual identity, and storytelling style across channels.
  • Jump on emerging trends and cultural moments with fast, thoughtful creative.
  • Engage with followers, reply/stitch/comment, and help shape a vibrant early community.
  • Surface insights from audience behavior and turn them into new content ideas.
  • Track performance metrics and use data to refine creative direction and test new formats.
