About the position

At Deskpro, we're revolutionizing the customer support industry with our innovative helpdesk software platform. We empower thousands of companies by providing them with our award-winning customer support software (SaaS) that they use to deliver exceptional customer service. We're seeking an experienced Content Marketer to join our marketing team and lead our content strategy. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you'll be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy that drives organic growth, establishes thought leadership, and supports our marketing objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a data-driven content strategy aligned with our business goals and target audience needs
  • Create and maintain an editorial calendar covering various content formats including blog posts, whitepapers, video content, and social media
  • Lead SEO strategy and implementation, including keyword research, content optimization, and performance tracking
  • Produce engaging written and video content that resonates with our target audience while maintaining brand voice and style
  • Collaborate with product, sales, and customer success teams to identify content opportunities and gather insights
  • Analyze content performance metrics and optimize strategies based on data-driven insights
  • Manage and grow our blog, ensuring consistent quality and publication schedule
  • Develop thought leadership content to position Deskpro as an industry leader

Requirements

  • 3-4+ years of content marketing experience, preferably in B2B SaaS
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful content strategies
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices and experience in improving organic search performance
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences
  • Experience in creating and managing video content
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze content performance metrics and make data-driven decisions
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Portfolio of published content work

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with customer service or help desk software industry
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and CMS systems
  • Experience managing freelancers or content contributors
  • Understanding of marketing analytics tools and SEO platforms
  • Background in creating technical content for B2B audiences
