We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented copywriter/content creator to support our marketing and communications efforts on a contract basis. This role will work closely with our marketing and leadership teams to craft compelling messaging across digital, print, and campaign materials.
The ideal candidate is a strong storyteller who can translate complex ideas into clear, engaging copy that connects with audiences and drives action.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional copywriting or content writing experience
• Strong portfolio demonstrating marketing, web, or brand copy
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Ability to write in multiple tones and formats
• Experience working with marketing teams or agencies
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• A creative problem-solver with a strong visual eye and attention to detail
• Experienced in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Canva
• Comfortable working independently with quick turnaround times and shifting priorities
• Familiar with branding principles and accessibility-conscious design

Nice To Haves

• You have experience working with healthcare or mission-driven brands
• Healthcare experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Write and edit high-quality copy for a variety of channels, including:
• Collaborate with marketing, design, and leadership teams to align messaging with brand voice and strategic goals
• Translate technical or industry concepts into accessible, engaging language
• Support campaign development with messaging, headlines, and calls to action
• Campaign ideation - proactive contributor
• Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, consistency, and brand alignment
• Adapt tone and messaging for different audiences (customers, partners, employees, etc.)
• Help maintain and evolve brand voice guidelines
