About The Position

The Content Creation/Video Production Specialist supports the project by capturing, editing, and delivering high-quality visual content that showcases both historical contributions and modern-day initiatives of the client. This role focuses on increasing audience engagement through creative storytelling while promoting the Army’s vision and values. Key responsibilities include content production for digital platforms, pre-production planning, technical editing, and collaboration with stakeholders. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent relevant work experience in content creation/video production.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant film/video experience.
  • Proficient in the ability to produce, shoot, direct, edit and manage a variety of video products and media trailers.
  • Experience with Livestreaming.
  • Experience working with Department of the Army and/or Department of Defense live/special event productions.
  • Possess a valid REAL ID Driver’s License or similar government-approved identification to obtain military installation access.
  • Maintain reliable mode of transportation.
  • Due to the nature of work at the client’s facility, U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.
  • Ability to advise production team on storytelling priorities and best approaches to facilitate Producer/Director’s artistic vision.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the production team to plan film/video content.
  • Proficient in use of Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and produce creative media solutions, including web-based file posting, conversion, streaming, social media, etc.
  • Proficient in normalizing audio files in finished video products.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to communicate in a clear, professional, and articulate manner.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high-level attention to detail.
  • Time management habits, ability to multi-task, ability to sustain focus on long-term tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • A Master’s Degree is a significant plus.

Responsibilities

  • Create original and edited video content for event coverage, historical storytelling, and promotional activities.
  • Plan and execute pre-production workflows, collaborating with stakeholders to establish clear deliverables and creative vision.
  • Edit video materials, ensuring audio normalization, seamless transitions, and high-quality final outputs.
  • Advise on storytelling priorities and visual delivery options to enhance project effectiveness.
  • Produce content formatted for modern engagement channels, including social media, livestreaming, and public events.
  • Operate video and recording equipment to capture professional-grade footage for project needs.
  • Maintain communication with project teams to ensure technical requirements are met and creative objectives are fulfilled.
  • Participate in scheduling discussions to plan production timelines and deliverables, aligning with stakeholder priorities.
  • Guarantee reliable access to required installations and maintain transportation for on-site obligations.
  • Manage resources and project materials responsibly to meet deadlines and exceed quality standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.
