About The Position

The Content Creation Specialist plays a key role in shaping how the DutchCrafters brand comes to life across digital, print, and in store experiences. This role is responsible for developing high quality visual and written content that supports brand storytelling, marketing campaigns, and customer engagement. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker who combines strong execution skills with an understanding of brand strategy and audience needs. This position works in close partnership with the Marketing Communications Specialist and reports to the Marketing and Marketplace Manager.

Requirements

  • Strong visual storytelling and design sensibility.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
  • Photography and photo editing experience.
  • Video editing and short form video production skills.
  • Ability to interpret creative direction and contribute original ideas.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree and two years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience, in graphic design, visual communications, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the brand's visual identity, values, and storytelling approach.
  • Develop and maintain visual brand identity and graphic standards in alignment with overall brand guidelines.
  • Partner with the Marketing Communications Specialist to ensure visual standards support brand voice and messaging.
  • Provide guidance and training to internal teams on the appropriate use of visual brand standards.
  • Collaborate early in campaign planning to translate messaging goals into effective creative solutions.
  • Contribute creative ideas and recommendations that enhance brand storytelling and customer engagement.
  • Create and produce visual and written content for use across website, email, social media, advertising, marketplaces, and printed materials.
  • Design and build promotional emails in alignment with campaign goals and messaging direction.
  • Support blog content through layout design, formatting, and supporting imagery.
  • Develop design concepts for webpages, printed marketing materials, catalogs, and other brand collateral, collaborating and leading projects as needed.
  • Adapt content for multiple platforms and audiences while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Capture and edit photography to build and maintain a high quality library of product, lifestyle, and behind the scenes content.
  • Focus on in stock product photography and showroom activity, primarily at the Sarasota location.
  • Produce short form video content for social media, marketplaces, and product promotion.
  • Perform photo retouching, color correction, and video editing to meet brand quality standards.
  • Maintain an organized and accessible digital asset library for photography, video, and design files.
  • Ensure creative assets are properly formatted, archived, and available for cross functional use.
  • Oversee intake and production of printed materials and branded collateral in coordination with marketing needs.
  • Coordinate print production, reorders, and branded promotional items.
  • Stay informed on emerging creative tools, platforms, and trends to enhance content quality and efficiency.
  • Use AI and creative tools responsibly to support content production while maintaining brand integrity.
  • Identify opportunities to improve visual consistency, creative quality, and design workflows across the organization.
  • Recommend processes, tools, and templates that support efficient and scalable design operations.
