About The Position

We are hiring a Contact Scraping / Contact Validation Specialist with proven experience sourcing, validating, and maintaining high-quality business contact data. This is an execution-heavy role, but it requires real expertise. We are not looking for entry-level or first-time researchers. You will build and maintain accurate contact lists, verify decision-maker details, and apply consistent validation standards. Success in this role looks like clean, usable data that supports outreach and revenue goals.

Requirements

  • Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience in contact sourcing, lead research, contact validation, or data enrichment.
  • Validation Tools: Familiarity with email verification and enrichment tools (tools used will vary).
  • Spreadsheet Mastery: Strong skill in Google Sheets and/or Excel, including filters, formulas, and structured data formatting.
  • Data Hygiene: Strong understanding of de-duplication, normalization, and standardization.
  • Research Skills: Advanced ability to locate and confirm accurate business information across multiple sources.
  • Detail-Oriented: Catches inconsistencies quickly and takes pride in accuracy.
  • Consistency: Applies the same standards across large volumes without quality drop-off.
  • Time Management: Can meet targets while maintaining strict accuracy thresholds.
  • Communication: Clear updates, quick flagging of edge cases, and comfortable asking the right questions.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, etc.)
  • Experience building lists for outbound campaigns (SDR or lead gen teams)
  • Experience with niche industries where contacts are harder to verify

Responsibilities

  • Contact Sourcing: Identify and collect business contact details across defined target segments using approved methods and tools.
  • Validation and Verification : Confirm accuracy of emails, phone numbers, titles, and company details using validation workflows.
  • Data Quality Management: Maintain a high standard of cleanliness, including de-duplication, formatting consistency, and completeness.
  • List Maintenance: Keep contact lists current by updating changes in roles, company status, and contact channels.
  • Documentation: Document sourcing methods, validation rules, and data standards to ensure repeatable workflows.
  • Reporting: Track volume, accuracy rates, bounce rates (if available), and common failure points to improve quality over time.
  • Compliance Alignment: Follow data handling best practices and comply with internal guidelines for privacy and ethical sourcing.
