As a Customer Service / Contact Center Representative I at Christian Community Credit Union , you will play a pivotal role in cultivating and retaining member accounts by assessing each member's unique financial service needs. Your ability to provide exemplary customer service will shine as you actively sell and promote our comprehensive range of products and services, both over the phone and in writing. With your in-depth product knowledge and rapport-building skills, you will proactively educate members on how our offerings can benefit them, guiding them to select the most fitting account types. Delivering quality service across multiple channels—phone, email, chat, SMS, and more—you will assist members with various transactions, inquiries, and problem-solving tasks. Your expertise will extend to both consumer and commercial members, ensuring their protection by diligently verifying identities in accordance with CCCU policies and protocols. To excel as a Customer Service / Contact Center Representative I at Christian Community Credit Union , candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have at least one year of customer service experience in a banking or credit union setting. Cross-selling experience is essential, as is familiarity with a contact center environment, which is preferred. Bilingual skills in English and Spanish will enhance your ability to serve our diverse membership effectively. Successful candidates should thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment, showcasing excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good telephone techniques, strong organizational skills, and meticulous attention to detail are vital for ensuring member satisfaction. Additionally, accurate typing skills of 40 wpm are necessary to efficiently handle member inquiries. While this role allows for local remote work, candidates must be able to train on-site in San Dimas, CA, for 60 to 90 days to fully integrate into our team and culture.
