About The Position

Support the strategy, content development, and flawless execution of high-volume international direct-to-consumer email campaigns aimed at increasing customer acquisition and retention. Utilize campaign results, analytics, and best practices to optimize key performance metrics. Leverage sophisticated marketing and triggered communication techniques to execute and analyze ongoing promotional communications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or other related fields.
  • 2 years marketing experience in consumer direct response and/or email marketing for a consumer brand company.
  • Proficient in email production processes, including creative development and production.
  • Experienced with enterprise-level ESPs and knowledgeable in email design best practices.
  • Skilled in leading and operating as the main point of contact for cross-departmental initiatives.
  • Thorough understanding of list segmentation for targeting specific customer segments.
  • Advanced Excel skills for analyzing and reporting campaign results.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills for ad hoc analysis, reporting, and budget management.
  • Effective in cross-functional team environments, including collaboration with regional teams globally.
  • Excellent problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Travel industry and cruise line experience is preferred.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HTML & CSS experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Management to develop content and strategy for cruise promotional email campaigns that drive leads and bookings.
  • Support the Booked Guest & Loyalty teams with their email campaigns.
  • Coordinate with Outbound Sales and other departments to develop transactional consumer email communications to drive international leads and bookings.
  • Support with the development and execution of email testing strategies, improve performance metrics based on testing results, and regularly report to Management on testing status and outcomes.
  • Maintain the email calendar for all international email campaigns, including key dates for creative briefs, list pulls, approvals, and scheduled mailings.
  • Assist in creating creative briefs for strategic and tactical integrated email marketing campaigns, ensuring timely submission according to business objectives and campaign requirements.
  • Serve as the point of contact for all marketing channels involved in content and campaign development to support business objectives.
  • Build and deploy all emails in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, approve test emails prior to deployment, and address any technical issues.
  • Actively monitor industry and competitive trends in the marketplace.
  • Perform other job-related functions as assigned.
