Consumer Loan Servicing Specialist 3
About The Position
Summary: The Consumer Loan Servicing Specialist 3 handles the more complex processing for Huntington's products and services related to Consumer loans. Manage the day to day servicing lifecycle for all performing real estate loans to include mortgages, personal credit lines, and installment loans secured by real estate. This would include the initial boarding of loans to the MSP servicing system through the disposition of loans through the lien release process. In addition to the daily maintenance on real estate loans Consumer Loan Services is also responsible for monthly reconciliation and remittance of funds to GSE's and other private investors. Consumer Loan Servicing is a fast paced, highly regulated environment. Positions in this job family must adhere to written policies and procedures and will be regularly audited to ensure compliance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 or more years customer service experience, including experience with mortgage workstation with MSP
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience leading a team preferred
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Excellent PC skills including specialized software such as product specific applications a plus.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Handles more complex processing of Consumer Loan products and services including: account research, GL and ACH processing, quality assurance, reporting and monetary transactions
- Trains new colleagues and cross trains existing colleagues
- Completes QC testing for colleagues on team
- Responds to internal and external customers via written correspondence
- Participates in system upgrades and testing
- Completes procedure updates and job aids
- Works closely with various levels of management, risk, compliance and audit
- Performs other duties as assigned
