About The Position

Shore United Bank is seeking a full-time Consumer Loan Servicing Associate to join their team. This position is responsible for executing the daily functions of the Loan Servicing Department to ensure that all loan accounting records are maintained with accuracy and integrity while meeting all regulatory and Bank loan policy and procedure requirements. This primarily includes establishing loans on the core system, reviewing loan documentation for accuracy, establishing and maintaining loan records, and communicating with appropriate personnel. Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED equivalent.
  • 1 year experience successfully providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Establish new and maintains existing loan records on the core system.
  • Establish new and maintains existing loan collateral records on the core system.
  • Communicate and document loan payoffs to external and internal requests.
  • Process transactions related to loan servicing including system maintenance upon request per Management, Loan Officer, or customer.
  • Prepare required source document for Maintenance review to remain compliant with regulations, policies, and operating procedures.
  • Creates or maintains records for government, regulatory and management reporting, and review.
  • Reconciles various loan related accounts.
  • Ensures prompt, efficient, and courteous delivery of loan servicing to appropriate bank personnel and external customers.
  • Investigates and resolves discrepancies as needed.
  • Review and distribute customer notices.
  • Cooperate with, participate in, and support the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Bank's compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g., Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, etc.
