About the Internship The Johnson Outdoors Summer Internship Program is a paid, hands‑on experience designed for college students and recent graduates ready to apply classroom learning to real business challenges. 📍 Location: Racine, WI (Lake Michigan views included) 🕒 Schedule: ~40 hours/week 📠Timing: May or June 2026 through August 2026 💼 Status: Temporary internship (not benefits‑eligible) Interns at Johnson Outdoors are treated as true team members. You’ll work on meaningful projects that influence innovation, marketing strategy, and business decision‑making — not hypothetical assignments.

Requirements

  • Current college student or recent graduate studying Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • Strong curiosity and passion for learning about consumers, behavior, and markets
  • Basic understanding of business, marketing, or innovation concepts
  • Strong analytical, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to organize information and communicate insights clearly
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without employment‑based sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Support consumer insights initiatives through data collection, analysis, and synthesis of qualitative and quantitative research
  • Assist with gathering and organizing consumer, market, and competitive data to inform innovation and business decisions
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Marketing, Innovation, Product, and Shared Services on insight‑driven projects
  • Help translate research findings into clear summaries, presentations, and actionable recommendations
  • Participate in innovation‑related projects, including concept exploration, trend analysis, and opportunity identification
  • Support documentation, reporting, and presentation of insights to internal stakeholders
