About The Position

The Consumer Insights Analyst supports others in the planning and execution of research projects as assigned with supervision. The Analyst will gain exposure to qualitative and quantitative research and will be expected to develop and hone research skills, including data analysis, interpretation of findings, and storytelling to translate data into actionable insights.

Requirements

  • Market Research: Shows basic knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research with continuous learning mindset. Demonstrates project management skills and ability to grasp market research concepts and methodologies.
  • Analytical and Problem Solving Skills: Knowledge of basic statistical concepts. Ability to analyze and interpret data and ability to create clear, compelling visual representations of data. Proven ability to solve problems and think logically.
  • Communication: Demonstrates the capability to interpret data and communicate findings.
  • Software: Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Project Management: Applies project management principles and techniques to achieve desired outcomes on time and within budget

  • Bachelor's Degree (business, statistics, data science, social sciences, marketing or related field)

  • Proven ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree
  • 1+ year professional experience; preferably in hospitality, retail, consumer packaged goods or consumer insight experience
  • Familiarity with SPSS and survey platforms
  • Experience using Generative AI and other analytics tools to accelerate insight generation, enhance reporting, and uncover deeper consumer narratives

Responsibilities

  • Provide Support in Executing Research Projects: Supports others in setting research objectives, planning, and managing consumer research studies. Specific tasks include participating in defining project objectives, stimulus preparation, programming surveys, monitoring data collection, preparing and analyzing data, quality checks, interpreting results, and preparing research reports. Provides logistical support for quantitative, qualitative, and sensory research. Supports others in the management of external research partner relationships, contracts, and budgets for projects.
  • Deliver Actionable Insights from Secondary Data Sources: Supports others in gathering and synthesizing syndicated data, preparing findings, and delivering actionable insights that directly address key business questions.
