About The Position

Axos is seeking a Retail Credit Officer in the auto division who will be responsible for analyzing and performing risk assessments on potential loan applicants, determining borrowing history and other specific risk factors to determine credit worthiness.

Requirements

• HS Diploma
• 2 year prior underwriting or credit and risk analysis experience

• Auto experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Prepares sound credit write-ups and ensures all due diligence and background evaluation is complete and thorough before credit requests and/or other approval documents are granted.
• Monitors application underwriting queue, approval queue, final review queue providing timely credit decisions, leverages technology, seeks out efficiencies to improve customer service and reduce cost structures.
• Pro-actively works to ensure the credit quality standards of the Bank are maintained.
• Documenting results; assisting with detecting credit fraud.
• Speaks to customers representing Axos Bank, obtaining and analyzing personal and financial information.
• Evaluate loan documents to insure accuracy and completeness.
