About The Position

The Consulting Systems Engineer is a strategic technical advisor who designs solution architectures that align technology decisions with business goals. Serving as a trusted guide, this role translates customer requirements and existing environments into scalable, future-ready solutions. Leveraging deep knowledge of modern technologies, the Consulting Systems Engineer delivers not just products, but a clear solution strategy and implementation roadmap that enables successful outcomes. In today’s rapidly evolving technology landscape, higher education institutions and state agencies are under increasing pressure to modernize systems, streamline operations, and deliver better outcomes with limited resources. Successfully navigating this digital transformation requires more than products, it requires trusted technical advisors who can align mission-driven goals with the right technology solutions. As a Consulting Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in partnering with some of our most strategic Higher Education and State Government (SLED) customers across the New England region. Working alongside our sales and services teams, you’ll provide hands-on technical leadership, architectural guidance, and solution design that directly supports our customers’ academic, civic, and community missions. Our SLED team is deeply focused on delivering outcome-based, mission-aligned strategies to ensure each customer adopts the right technologies to address today’s challenges while building a foundation for the future.
