About The Position

As Consulting Solutions Architect (CSA) you will support our GSP teams and customers. This position will be responsible for working as the technical representative for WWT service offerings in the GSP accounts. Working in conjunction with the Sales and Business Development team members, this resource will work with our customers to determine their requirements and then scope, price, and sell solutions that best address them.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of service provider solution development experience -- preferably in both Cable MSO and Telco environments
  • Proven history of performance in a pre-sales support role
  • Strong knowledge of MSO and Telco networks -- Optical and IP core/backbone networks, Data Center and Cloud technologies, telephony networks (wireline and wireless), headend / hub facilities, central office facilities, and commercial services delivery.
  • Strong experience with many of the following disciplines: equipment installs and activations in a service provider environment, Route/Switch, Wireless, Security, Data Center (servers, load balancers, Cloud, etc.), and Cellular.
  • Experience leading and coordinating a large, diverse group of multi-discipline specialists in the development of complex services solutions to meet customer requirements
  • Excellent oral and written communication, customer service, and presentation skills are required.
  • Ability to align customer priorities with WWT extended teams
  • Ability to travel up to 50% when required
  • Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent experience required

Responsibilities

  • Work with clients and WWT Outside Sales team to obtain technical priorities, challenges, and initiatives that can be translated into WWT opportunities.
  • Work with Service Provider customers, WWT extended team resources, and OEM partners to develop solutions around those priorities, challenges, and initiatives
  • Partner with WWT internal resources to create statements of work, respond to RFPs, identify contracting opportunities, and develop customer pricing for them
  • Assist with performing technical screenings of contractors and PS engineers for specific engagements to ensure the right candidates are assigned to the projects
  • Develop relationships with peers at strategic OEM partners
  • Assist with reviewing partners to verify they have the resources and skills to deliver to WWT customers effectively
  • Ensures effective coordination and support between account teams and post-sale technical resources.
  • Ensures that proposed solutions, when implemented, meet the needs and functional requirements of the customer. This can include assisting project managers with technical project management for our more complex projects
