About The Position

The ECS coach is responsible for developing teachers in one of the schools within our network at the elementary or middle school level. The consultant role works with 1 content area, 2-3 times per week. The successful candidate will have evidence of strong performance with educating students and coaching teachers. High needs content areas are grades K-2 reading, grades 3-8 writing and grades 3-8 math.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 year’s experience developing teachers; 10+ years as a classroom teacher

Nice To Haves

• Doctorate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning meetings with teachers
• Model instruction for teachers
• Provide weekly feedback to Chief Academic Officer
• Available to be on site at schools a minimum of 2 days per week; 3 hours per day.
