Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or related field (preferred). Or equivalent experience.
  • 0–1 years of applicable experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and strong computer literacy.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform hands-on troubleshooting.
  • Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.
  • Enrollment in and compliance with the DISA drug testing program.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with mechanical aptitude.
  • This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • BS in geology, earth sciences, engineering, or related discipline.
  • Interest in long-term field assignments.
  • Previous environmental fieldwork experience.
  • Oil and gas industry exposure.
  • 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance on site investigation and remediation projects.
  • Conduct field activities such as: Subcontractor oversight and utility clearance. Soil and bedrock drilling, characterization, and sampling. Monitoring well installation and test pit excavation. Sampling of soil, soil vapor, groundwater, and surface water. Geophysical techniques and aquifer testing (slug tests, packer testing, tracer tests).
  • Implement remedial actions (excavation, in-situ treatment, capping) and monitor system performance.
  • Assist with project planning, health and safety oversight, and regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare plans, permits, and reports for site characterization and monitoring.
  • Record and analyze data; create reports, charts, and hydrogeologic maps.
  • Support environmental compliance assessments and corrective actions.
  • Communicate effectively with subcontractors, regulatory agencies, and clients.
  • Manage multiple projects within scope, budget, and schedule expectations.
