We partner with clients to optimize their finance functions, streamline processes, enhance reporting, and enable faster, data-driven decision-making across core finance areas including accounting operations, financial close, and reporting. We are seeking a detail-oriented Consultant to support execution of onboarding activities within CFGI’s Managed Services Transitions function. This role is focused on supporting transition engagements through data gathering, process documentation, and development of key deliverables that enable a smooth transition to steady-state delivery.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in client service, consulting, finance, or related fields
  • Foundational understanding of finance operations and processes
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Support execution of transition engagements through data gathering, research, and coordination of activities
  • Assist in documenting finance processes, workflows, and operational procedures across key finance areas
  • Develop and maintain transition deliverables including process documentation, close calendars, and reporting materials
  • Support preparation of transition plans, status updates, and project documentation
  • Participate in client meetings, walkthroughs, and workshops to gather information and document requirements
  • Track progress against milestones and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies to senior team members
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support a smooth transition into steady-state delivery
  • Contribute to development and refinement of transition tools, templates, and methodologies
