About The Position

Indiana University Health is seeking individuals to join their Talent Acquisition team in the role of Consultant-Talent Sourcing Intermediate. This role emphasizes proactive research, strategic outreach, and engagement with passive candidates. The Talent Sourcing Consultant manages multiple requisitions simultaneously and provides insights that strengthen the overall recruiting strategy, while consistently meeting key performance metrics and driving talent attraction efforts targeted at passive audiences. The consultant will focus on sourcing, attracting, and engaging top talent from all backgrounds using various methods including social media, job boards, networking, and community outreach. They will research, develop, and implement tailored recruitment strategies to reach a broad and diverse pool of candidates, building strong relationships with universities, external organizations, and community groups to expand the talent pipeline. In partnership with stakeholders, the talent sourcing team, talent acquisition consultants, and hiring managers, this role helps shape recruitment strategies, job descriptions, and interview processes. Responsibilities also include conducting screening discussions to assess candidate qualifications, maintaining ongoing engagement with passive talent for future hiring needs, keeping accurate candidate records, and analyzing recruitment metrics to support continuous improvement. Staying current on recruitment trends and best practices is essential to share valuable knowledge with the team and contribute to an effective, inclusive talent acquisition strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required, or equivalent years of experience within a matrixed organization.
  • Minimum 3 years of Talent Acquisition/Recruiting/Sourcing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing tools and techniques.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems, candidate relationship management platforms and other recruitment tools.

  • Experience within a healthcare setting (preferred for equivalent years of experience).
